She is one of the 6 apples of my eye and has the typical 4 year old's attitude of knowing it all and can do it myself attitude. She is SO FUN to talk to.

Hallelujah - It's Spring At Last!
I love having 4 seasons here, BUT I really love it when spring finally arrives. We took a ride for Mom's Day this Saturday and ended up on probably my favorite road.
We live in the foothills of the Wasatch mountains and this road is only about 15 miles north of our house. It runs through a canyon and then turns along the back side of these mountains. The back is so much prettier than our side.

Mabels Table
I finally finished this cute little 'table cloth'. Another fun Quilt Soup project. I pretty much followed their colorway because it looks so cheery. The name of it is Mabel's Table and since that is my mama's name - I just had to make it.
Funny thing I was reading a quilters blog recently and she mentioned how she couldn't wait to wash and dry her finished quilt because they get all puckery and soft. I am hooked.

Womens Conference
I had so much fun spending time with my cousins - that really was the best part. The conference is held on a large college campus here - Brigham Young University and when I say it was crowded - I am understating it to the point of ridiculous. There is a 30 min line every direction you look. I enjoyed the speakers and there was an awesome concert on Thursday night that was great.
There were service projects we could participate in and we were able to help make Christmas stockings for it. I don't remember the exact stats but there were at least 30,000 hygiene kits made which are shipped around the world whenever there is a need. People made crocheted dish cloths, baby blankets and many, many more things. Makes you feel good to help.
