This is my favorite block
This is a close up of "reverse applique"--you cut out the area to be shown and you place contrast fabric underneath it. I had never tried this before so it was kinda fun.
We'll see how long it takes me to get the borders on and get this thing quilted!

ReplyDeleteBoy - I guess I should look at the comment moderation page once in a while! Being new to this blogging thing, I just have to learn faster!. I got this pattern from Quilt Soup and it is a favorite company of mine. If you have ever wanted to try hand applique - this is the pattern for you. It has such simple lines and big curves that it makes it easy. I took a class a few years back at a local quilt shop for needleturn and haven't looked back since!
