I started this last year but never got around to finishing it until last week. A little late for the 4th - but at least it's done.

We seem to be overrun by cats! At least they are cute. Mariah had a sleep over. This is her first week of kindergarten but they only held kindergarten on Monday this week. Dumb, uh?

She just LOVES Daisy. I must admit that Daisy doesn't look too happy to be held.

Old Fashioned Yumminess

I have been making these cookies since my kids were little. They are a kind of crinkle cookie because you don't chill the dough like regular sugar cookies, you just roll them into balls. Try them - I think you'll like them!It's like a science experiment - mixing the baking soda with vinegar --spectacular!
Take the vinegar/soda mixture and add to the wet ings.

After mixing all the ings. together, you form them into balls and dip into cinnamon/sugar...

-or- confetti, -or- colored sprinkles, etc.

They look colorful. But really, the best ones are the cinnamon-sugar ones.
