I LOVE Table Runners!

I think making table runners is probably just next to wall hangings or table cloths as being my favorite quilting project.

The reasons:

• When you've been hoarding fabrics for as long as I have - you can make a runner for "free"-just using your stash.
• You can quilt a runner using your own little sewing machine.
• You can get the top cut and pieced in one night and the whole thing quilted the next night.
• You can give them away cuz they don't really cost anything and don't take up much time.
• You can NEVER have enough runners - they're good for everywhere in the house.
• You can sew up seasonal cuties and have several on hand.
• You can find so many cute patterns out there.
