Finally got the 2011 Block of the Month back from the quilter. She did a fantastic job... Close up of the border quilting. Really cute daisy pattern - kinda hard to see on this busy fabric.
There was an empty spot - so I made a signature block.
This is ready to be sewn to the back of the quilt. It is the Key to all the blocks. Remember this is the quilt where there are 2 blocks made of each pattern - just the values of the fabrics are reversed -making them unrecognizable in most cases as being the same.
I wanted you to see the backing I bought. I LOVE this fabric. It is copies of old feed sack labels and really fits in with this '30's quilt!

Adorable! You know how I'm drawn to the 30's prints. Got to get started on ours, don't you think? It will be fun if.....Clete can take the phone calls. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it's just cute as can be especially with that cute flour sack fabric on the back.
